Andy graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2002. Before he returned to Illinois he worked for Missouri Bone and Joint Center of St. Louis, MO covering the River City Rascals professional baseball team and Parkway Central High School. He has been the Athletic Trainer at Alton High School since March of 2005, first for Alton Memorial Hospital and then as a district employee since 2011. He and his wife Marlena reside in Alton with their first child, Joshua, born in May of 2016. In his free time he enjoys bird hunting, and going to St. Louis Blues games. Their family’s vacations often involve traveling to historical sites as well as food and craft brewing destinations.
