Council for Early Career Athletic Trainers
The CECAT is comprised of AT students and ATs who are in their first twelve years of professional practice. The committee is co-chaired by an AT student and a certified AT. Other members include four additional students and certified ATs. The goal of the CECAT is to promote both athletic training students and early career athletic trainers in various ways. Its duties include, but are not limited to:
- Identify and plan programming relevant to students/early career professionals for the State Meeting.
- Develop programming, such as learning labs, career panels, and networking/mentoring opportunities.
- Develop and plan meetings, gatherings, webinars, etc. targeted to students/early career professionals.
- Facilitate a service project annually
