Continuing Education Courses

For the State of Illinois, athletic trainers must pay a renewal fee and complete 40 hours of continuing education per licensing period. The Illinois requirements differ from the Board of Certification, Inc.'s requirements to maintain certification.

Here’s more information about athletic training licensure regulation by the State of Illinois. Clicking on the above link will take you to the IDFPR website, where you can apply for a license, look up a license status, change your name or address, file a complaint, and contact the IDFPR with specific questions, among other options.
